I’ve had the opportunity to experience a lot of things in life. Most of them are wonderful, a handful are not. A few years ago, when my daughter died of COVID19, I found myself in the middle of one of the biggest stories in my lifetime, probably in our lifetimes. It is through that experience that I gained the perspective that we really do not have much time. So, I decided to follow my dreams. I feel privileged to be able to share one of my passions with you. It’s one of my most extraordinary experiences of all. Welcome!

I’ve always loved history. I’ve traveled and talked to folks from all over the world. I taught US and Texas history, but I enjoy all kinds. As a former history teacher, I noticed that sometimes women were left out of the story. There are so many women who have made an impact (sometimes good and sometimes bad) on humanity. Here, we explore some not-so-known, and a few well-known, stories of women in history.
